Comilegno Srl can boast more than 30 years experience in the field of exotic woods. The woodworking activity is especially focused on Teak species: in the place of origin some local skilled staff set up and check the provisioning of the logs, whereas in Italy some specialized sawmills provide for the first sawing. Then Comilegno’s processing division, equipped with advanced machines and tools as well as high-qualified staff, completes all semifinished products as demanded by the nautical industry for the interior and exterior design of the most prestigious yachts.
Comilegno’s factory is large and located in a vast area between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions. After the first sawing the logs are stored in the outdoor area, to undergo seasoning and check tests by customer inspections. The sawing division is well equipped and organized, arranging for the whole range of cutting of rough timber boards to get different finished products. In the indoor warehouse are accurately stored timber boards, deckings, margins... marine playwood and parquet woods, as perfectly arranged for final distribution.
